Hot or not: Agyness Deyn

Spotted while shopping with fashion designer, Henry Holland, 27-year old Agyness Deyn has been hailed as fashion's next great supermodel.

Born Laura Hollins, the English lass first caught our eye as the Burberry girl with her short, blonder pixie cut, a look she's actually been working since she was 13-years-old! Renowned for her quirky fashion sense, Agyness has never been one to shy away from experimentation, even shaving her head to be a skinhead when she was 17. After winning a small-time modelling competition, she moved to London in the hopes of furthering her career, but for nearly 10 years, was faced with dead end jobs in fast food restaurants and bars.

Her big break came in 2006 when she graced the cover of Vogue Italia and then in 2007 when she was featured on British Vogue. From then, her steely gaze has stared back at us from campaigns for Giorgio Armani, Chanel, Mulberry and just about every prestigious fashion house.

Career success aside, Agyness has come into her own on a personal level, creating a unique style of her own. It's quirky, it's mismatched, but it's Agyness. Did you know: The name Agyness Deyn was reportedly coined in an effort to find something memorable and that would astrologically further her modelling career. After consulting a numerology expert, she settled on this variation of the name Agnes, which she was told was the most fortuitous way to spell the name.
