Panaflex Pain Relief Patch
On October 29th 2009, Glaxosmithkline (GSK) launched Panaflex Pain Relief Patch which is a a medicated patch based on a unique hydrogel technology, for muscle and joint pain relief. GSK has more than 50 years of experience in pain relief with Panadol and today, Panadol is still the trusted pain reliever in Malaysia.
“This is a momentous occasion for GSK. Based on our research, 45% of muscle & joint pain sufferers use a combination of topical and oral pain relief. GSK now offers options of both an oral pain reliever with Panadol Extend as well as a patch with Panaflex Patch. Dr. Balwant Singh Bains, President of the Malaysian Physiotherapy Association, gave an insight into the diverse types of muscle and joint pain. The most widespread areas affected are the neck, shoulder, upper and lower back as well as the weight-bearing joints such as the knees and ankles.
