Katie Price v Victoria Beckham
UK glamour model and entrepreneur Katie Price has never been one to mince her words. In April, she branded her old foe Victoria Beckham 'senile' after the pop-princess-turned-fashion-queen claimed she models her own designs because she represents the 'general public'.
Still, Katie and Victoria certainly aren't the first high-profile pair to have disagreed over dress sense or fashion collections. Welcome to our celebrity wardrobe wars...
What's the problem? Talking about her design process in a new interview with Harper's Bazaar, Victoria insisted: 'We always joke that we have this fabulously gorgeous 17-year-old model who is six-foot-whatever, and then I say, "OK, I'm going to put it on. I stand for the general public." It's how I work.' So Mrs B's just like the rest of us then? Really? Katie wasn't having any of it. 'I think all this California sunshine is sending Posh senile because she is a size 6,' she wrote in The Sun on Sunday. 'And if she read the papers this week, she would know that the general public like eating pasties and the average British woman is size 16. They can't afford Posh's £1,000 dresses, let alone fit into them.'
Our verdict: It pains us to say it, but we're with Katie on this one - although she's not really Ms Average either, is she?
