Born Natpimol Natthayalak, the half Thai-Austrian beauty was crowned Miss Universe Thailand 2012 on the 2nd of June at the pageant finale held at Siam Pavalai Royal Grand Theater. The stunning beauty queen will be representing Thailand at the 61st Miss Universe pageant later this year. (Rumour has it that the pageant will be held in the Dominican Republic!)
The reigning Miss Universe Thailand was presented with one million cash prize, jewelry, a brand new Toyota Prius and more.
Waratthaya Wongchayaporn was crowned first runner-up and will continue on to represent her country at the Miss Earth Thailand 2012 as part of her prize. Supatra Jujaroen won second runner-up, followed by Gaewalin Sriwanna and Pornpassorn Attapunyapol as third and fourth runner-up, respectively.
Amongst the 287 applicants, only 44 were chosen from across the country to join this prestigious beauty contest. During the duration of the pageant, the contestants travelled to the Phitsanulok province to help promote culture and tourism.
